"Don't say so, it was Fiorentina".

But without that save on Amoroso...

"Any save can get decisive, but as it's not the scorer's merit only when his team win, so it is 
not my merit that Fiorentina won just because I made that save".

Will you tell us about that save?

"I saw Amoruso about three or four meters away from me, he tried to catch me in 
counter-attack but I opposed myself well with my feet and kicked the ball back. That's all".

That's all, but it's worth three points.

"If Pierini hadn't scored it would have been only one point... I say it again, a player alone 
cannot do anything. Without the rest of the team I would have never won".

But with you, Fiorentina did not lose.

"OK, let's put it this way. But I insist, the credit for this victory goes to me as to all the

the difference. We had to won, there was no other possibility".

Can this victory represent a turning point in the season?

"May be, had we drew at home it could have become as problem seeing our situation. Fiorentina 
took their three points, we took a good leap forward in the standings and now we are calmly 
waiting for the game against Manchester".

Talking about Manchester, some say the only thing the English can envy Fiorentina of is Toldo.

"I don't care. I really don't care. I only think about Fiorentina and, since today, about the 
game against Manchester. Another game I would like to win".
