Fiorentina rejects world record bid for Toldo

Fiorentina has turned down a world record $75 million offer for goalkeeper Francesco Toldo. 

Club chairman Vittorio Cecchi Gori declined to name the bidder but said: "The offer came 
at the end of last season. I told them he was not for sale. I'm holding on to him, he's 
unique. You can't put a price on that sort of talent." 

Toldo, 28, started Euro 2000 as Italy's third choice but improved with every game in the 
tournament.
